Great inspiration

Like many others I have become slightly obsessed with Pinterest, mostly drooling over the food pictures. There are some great new designers to discover on there and below are some of my new favourites.

I think I might go and have another swoon over the pictures on Pinterest.
Bye for now! X

Trying out blog press

So I am still getting used to my IPad. My old computer decided it had, had enough about a month ago. I am still getting used to touch typing and all the apps but I am having fun. I am writing this from the blogpress app so just wanted to check that it is working ok. The blogger site for some reason is not IPad friendly and doesn't let you write new posts or add pictures.

I hope to get back into blogging again, my last post was so long ago. So for now I thought I would leave you with two pics, me playing around with my new hipstamatic camera app :)

9 months since we left England

I have just looked at the date and realised we have been here for 9 months. I can't believe how quickly it has gone and how much we have managed to do in that time. My boyfriend and I are still teaching in a school in the north of Thailand and really enjoying it. All the students are on
holiday at the moment which means we can relax and look forward to our holiday next week :).
So today I thought I would share some of my recent photos.

Happy New Year

I know it is the 10th already, and I can't believe how quick it is going! I am still here in Thailand and enjoying the teaching. Sometimes its can be hard to control the students, but I love that they are all so happy all the time. This is a picture I took of some children's drawings in Chiang Mai at New Years. I hope you all had a great New Year and Happy 2011!!

My brother's new work

My talented brother has just started selling his work on Folksy. The colourful retro bags would make great Christmas presents.

Screenprinters in Australia

I found this wonderful blog badskirt and a link to many screenprinters websites through a tweet from Karen Lewis at blueberryathome. I had a nosy through the sites and loved the work by pippijoe. Great designs, simple yet eyecatching.

Latest from Thailand

So I have been in Thailand for nearly four months and I have not been keeping up with blog writing and sadly not been making any new work. Although I have been trying to keep up with other people blogs and to see what is happening in the art world.

At the moment my boyfriend and I are working in a boarding school in the north of Thailand. The scenery is beautiful, lots of waterfalls and great mountain views. I start teaching properly at the end of the month which I am looking forward to. Hopefully I will get settled enough to start making artwork again. Maybe just drawing will have to do for now.

Here are some photos below of our travels so far:
